Challenge: Increase the sales of Smartphones and usage of Data during the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
Idea: Give our costumers the opportunity to get some action out of the most watched sport's event on the planet. Be a coach, a manager, build your dream team and good luck.
The consumer would create an account on the VGoool website, pick 22 players from any of the national teams competing at the 2010 world cup and then wait for the kick-off. As the competition progresses the performance of the chosen players would affect their value on the market.
And as the real market, you can negotiate your players with your friends and other Verizon costumers. The better you would manage your team, the more points you'd get. And at the end of the competition you redeem your points and choose from a great number of phone accessories, discounts on your current plan and even free smartphones for you and your family.
Nokia "Music Almighty"
Challenge: promote Nokia 2760’s music capabilities and launch of the new Nokia OVI Music store. The idea was to offer our consumers the once in a lifetime opportunity to have their own music recorded by a famous band.
On the moment of the purchase, the costumer receives a code and the new device's serial number. He would then register at the website, download the "Music Almighty Mixer: and music samples to start playing with it. The next step was to upload their song, music or mix on the Nokia OVI Music website for a chance to win.
Nokia "Fauxgraphs"
Challenge: promote the new Flix feature on the Nokia E71.
Fauxgraphs (record a movie instead of taking a picture creating very funny and awkward moments).
The idea is to engage our consumers to play with the new video recording feauture by shooting
fauxgraphs with celebrities.
The consumer would record a fauxgraph of a celebrity, upload it to the Nokia OVI website and spread the word among your friends. The most voted fauxgraph of the week would win Nokia Accessories.
